If you want your SC400 to have low end response, you have to cut the wire mentioned this thread.
In stock form, line pressure is bled off in first gear, during shifts, and on downshifts to make the experience more luxurious. It also does this any time the ECU thinks power delivery would make the rear end squat.
This mod is totally safe because it make it drive like every other non-Lexus that uses this transmission. The trans is happier because it isn't slipping and wasting horsepower that should be reaching the wheels.
I was going to use a relay so I could switch the wire as needed but I like it so much it's just staying cut permanently.

Soarer JZZ30 1jzgte with stock turbos 12.38sec at 110mph. best sixty foot 1.68(3600rpm stall convertor and mickey thompson ET street tyres) best terminal speed 111.87mph.(fastest/quickest stock turbo soarer in New Zealand) The car had a HKS f-con iS ECU, a shift kitted auto and a TRD LSD 2way diff.Running 110RON/100MON at 20psi.
