Default Torn carpet...

Hi everyone,
I finally purchased a used black carpet for dirt cheap but one of the issues I have is the carpet is torn in some spots:

I wanted to know if it would be a problem to use liquid nails to repair the torn areas?
Also can someone tell me how to remove this bar that anchor's the seatbelt in place?

Thank's in advance

Dunno about liquid nails. If anything I would stitch it up with some black yarn (Ryeno status).

To remove that seat belt bar, move the seat up, then pop that plastic cap out (from the front side closest to the dash). This will expose a large bolt. Remove it then slide the bar toward the front of the car to remove it
