2jzgte swap...?!?
hey guys, ok i am VERY noob at anything lexus... i know a few things about supras but anyway. Last week i found a 1992 sc300 (2jz-ge) for CHEAP($2500)... i now wanna get stared on a gte swap and have no idea where to start... what all do i need and such... links or info would be nice!thanks

OP: start by searching 2jzgte swap guides as well as weigh your options, 1jz or NA-t might be a better choice for you.

Although, bottom line is searching is your friend. There are several documented GTE DIY's with parts lists. The search function here works the same as SF's does, and its your best place to start. GL with your search..where in NM by the way? I was born in Albq. (sp?)

man it really sucks how people get bashed on here for asking questions... i was always taught that there is no such thing as a stupid one... so what some of us arent as schooled on the ins and outs... but dont you have to start somewhere... i have learned so much from this forum and am very thankful, allot from using the search and some by just asking "stupid" questions... i thought this was a community of people with a similar interest how about welcoming that and offering assistance... just my two cents
by the way 92 sc300 5spd just hit 220k no longer daily driver... looking to swap 2jzgte soon as i get back in the states, and am probably going to have plenty of questions some probably stupid to many of you... lol
