speed bumps
for all you out there with lowered cars....what doyou do when you have to go over a speed bump. I have my car lowered an inch and some bbumps are alright and some arejust devastatng to go over and i hear it scrape against my car. What do you all do for high speed bumps when you cannot go around and there is no alternate route like in an apt complex? Thanks
Your car is only lowered an INCH.
I have never bottomed out on a speed bump at an inch drop. Do you know what is scraping? I would try going over it diagonally and see if that helps. But I will reiterate, one inch drop should not be the problem,

hey emery,
you should be fine. with my body kit, i still go head on with MOST speed bumps and dips, etc. etc.
it's just those MONSTOR bumps and you just got to angle it. it shouldn't be a problem though since you have stock bumpers and all. If i ever (very rare) eat crap on the road, my piping for the exhaust scrapes.
if you are scraping over speed bumps, then just crawl over the bump. no need to let the car bounce.

One-inch drop and any legal street bump should be nooooo problem at all. It's those damned curb-ramps with huge dips in them that fvck you up, but you can still make it over those by climbing them from the side (aka diagonal).
