Hey guys so I have everything for my 5spd swap but the 5 spd speed sensor. I have been searching for awhile but all information for the 5spd swap comes in little chunks in each thread. I cant find helpful information on the SS

Can I use the auto speed sensor? I read one member says he THINKS he used the auto sensor :/ I read the auto SS has two wires on one end and three on the other. The 5spd has one on one and and two on the other. is that right?

I actually dont even know which speed sensor im looking for. Is it the VSS or ? Any OEM part numbers would be greatly appreciated because im gonna try to order this from toyota today

I did get the marlin crawler VSS for my 5 spd swap, but I forgot the reason why. I bought it about a year ago.

 

Did you buy it to complete your swap or to fix an issue? ...if you remember. Thanks man

 

I believe it was to help with an issue with the swap. I know I saved the thread with the info somewhere. ASAIF the info I will post. Later today likely.
