Under the car. Directly behind the driver side rear wheel its a black cylinder with a small metal clamp around it. PITA to change. My SC is going to the shop tomorrow for it.

with engine running and nothing on the voltage is 13.7. im starting to think its a fuel delivery problem. that dang filter is really hard to undo the nuts.

Does run smooth until about 3000-3500rpm? Timing belt may have jumped a tooth if your tensioner got loosened up. You can hand line up the timing marks on the crank and cams to check this.

well after totally mangling my fuel filter and having to cut the lines and adding rubber fuel line with the filter, and checking everything under the hood .i pulled the plugs and cleaned them and the caps and rotors, but it still missed and ran like sh*% . so i decided to put new plugs and wires, which btw are a pain to change. the car runs great.. thanks for all of your help..
