Ac Blinking after replacing compressor
I purchased a compressor for a 1jz from a local member on the forums (great guy). He told me it had around 3x,xxx miles when he took it off and blew real cold. however with my previous luck on other cars and ac parts being horrible, I figured maybe once I might get lucky. well my luck didn't happen today after putting in the new compressor getting it evac and recharged. the mechanic told me it was toasted cause it started to slightly smoke. I was told from the previous owner it was the degreaser he put on it that was burning away, cause after that it never smoked again. Well when I got home I put r134 in it to make sure it was nice and full and it was however my ac light started to blink. I searched this forum up and down and realized people saying replace the relay, well after spending a non refundable fee of $35 at Discount it still doesn't work. I'm lucky that the previous owner is willing to refund me the money for the part but however I want to try all possiblities to make sure this thing is dead, and no bringing it back cause with a 3 year old son and summer here in FL having no AC really does suck. Please any other suggestions would be great -Jeremy
