So I bought this sc with a blown trans for 800$, so I got a trans off of a forum member and after I install it, I filled it up and bam, leaks from every place imaginable, fairly sure its cracked too. So the 5 days of work it took to replace it with hand tools and no lift, all by floor jacks and 4x4 peice of wood was a waste. I'm seriously frustrated with this trans/seller, he's been nothing but a pain. But good news is I changed out the plugs, wires (didn't need to till my pops broke a couple, I sware he can and will bust anything), waterpump, timing belt, serp belt, all the fluids (several times
) and cleaned out the interior very well. The engine runs so well, its amazing, I had the exhaust off, and it was honestly a turning point with this car, I liked it better than the way my 1jz sc sounded with a straight 3" and a magnaflo race muffler on it.
So who sells that 5spd swap kit?

oh man, theres a 1jz swap forsale over in the FS section for 700$ and it's local to me... soooo tempting.
You live and learn man. Im telling you, the 400's can be a cruel mistress... Give her some love tho and i promise it will be a very rewarding relationship
The motor is great, I think it even had the orginal plugs, old school looking denso plugs, the threads were fairly rusted too.

original plugs would have 1 little colored dot on the top of the Plug.
Wires,...well the wires have the year on thm if they are OEM.
