Just took my car to a small mechanic here in Tampa and he said the rattling noise coming from my compressor is the pulley going bad which is why my belt is slipping a bit. My AC blows just fine so I don't want to replace the entire compressor. Can someone point me in the right direction of where to get the pulley from?

I want to revive this thread because the same things happened to me.

Can I just by the AC compressor pulley because apparently the bearing is out which is causing my belt to slip.
