Default Wheel fitment question

Whats up all,
Will a set of wheels (19"x8" Offset 45) with tires (255/35/19)
fit my 92 SC300? Thanks for any help.

Overall dimensions are similar, considering the factory wheels are 16 x 8, 50 offset. Since the 19's have a 45 offset; the wheels will sit 5mm closer to the fenders, 5mm away from the strut. You will definitely need some spacers to get rid of the sunken in look.

Very good info in this link,

Preciate it 3ROTOR. To make sure I understand, would the wheels sit 5mm closer to the fenders, or 5mm away from the fenders which would cause the sunken in look like the factory wheels do?

Stock SC300 wheels are 15x6.5 and 400's are 16x7.5 aren't they? So, they will sit [(25.4)x(1.5/2)+5] mm further out than stock SC300 wheels I think. So, about 24 mm further out (or 24mm closer to fender), but still in need of spacers.

Also, those tires are a bit plump for that size wheel, which, as anyone who sees this will tell you, are too small. 9" or 9.5" wheels will fit those tires the best.

Thanks Bartledoo. Understand much better now, but still have a question. What will the spacers do for me? Do I have to have them for the wheels and tires to fit? Asking because I can these from a friend real right.

You won't need spacers. The wheels would just get more flush with spacers. That tire size has been done on that wheel size, but I don't think it is recommended.

Sorry, somehow I thought they were 8 inch wheels, thanks for the catch BartleDoo. Yes, it will sit closer to the fender. I was trying to put too much info in one sentences.
