Default Dripping after shut off

98 SC400 - 33,000 miles

This thing has a lot of dripping after it is shut off and I know it is coming from the AC. The thing that bugs me though is the tinking noises when I get out of the car. I assume this is condensation from the AC hitting something hot in the engine? Manifold? It bugs the he11 out of me. Is this normal? I mean, I have no probalm with the dripping but I hate turning my car off and hearing these noices for 3-4 mintues as the engine cools down. Could thins be excessive or a sign that I need a hose tightened? Thanks.

Nope, its totally normal!

Its your exhaust system metals contracting because they got hot, and then releasing as they get cold. Nothing wrong, and nothing you can do about it... Unless you replace your whole exhaust system.
