Seems everytime I come on here there is a newer way to ruin the style/class of our cars with more and more hideous "mods." While everyone is entitled to do with their cars as they please, they are in turn ruining the joy of ownership for everyone else. I almost wish the prices of these cars would have stayed up high...

Crown Royal shift boots, home made painted valve covers with tri-color engine bays, what's next I guess I should just get another LS and leave the SC's for the young uns...

I don't see anything wrong with crown royal shift boots or painted valve covers, but the sad truth is that the SC is becoming a 1337 dorifuto car like the 240. I give it a year before we start seeing gaudy body kits attached to primered SCs.

Starting to? It's been that way for years! One of my friend who use to frequent the SC section told me he stopped coming here because of the ricerness. Truth be told, he's right! I can't believe the amount of crap I've been seeing on here. It's even worse when they claim their old beater 93 sc300 has class... yea maybe when it was stock!

I see it like this. The Ricers are getting tired of being called that so they think they can swap their civic for a car that is known to have class like our SC. But then their riciness kicks in and they just ruin a perfect SC. For example some guy bought a sc400 in my city and I was excited cause theres finally another Sc. Yesterday I went to the car wash and there it was with fender accent stick ons, some big *** spoiler, and a streetglow sticker... Got me depressed so I had to leave.

I agree 100% The car is cheap to buy (wished it was kept high). When I was looking for my first SC 6 years ago the range was (6k-10k) We all must remember tho it is NOT CHEAP to build. Let them pick the cars up for cheap as when they figure out its not your normal HONDA you can build for $5k and be done. They sell and look for something cheaper.

Its been like this for a long while yes. People will always say do "what you like not what other people like" If are our cars start getting pop'd like 240sx I will know its time to sell, because we been infested.

When I was getting my exhaust done yesterday this guy came up to me and said OHHH LOOK THATS THE 240 LEXUS MAKES... and im like uhh okay.. he kept explain how his friend has a 240 thats primered and drifts it and asks if I drift mine. *face palm*

its simple... you mod a Lexus like a Lexus... The SC's are getting cheaper and people are seeing Soarers/SC's drifting on TV and want it for that, not for what the car really is... I bought the car because it is a quality executive grand tourer/ sports(ish) car... I wish people would realize what the SC is and not all jump on the drifting bandwagon

This is one reason why I avoided the Honda scene. But apparently, it's coming to me. I hope I don't see chromed out tail lights and huge spoilers with lightning vinyls running across an SC in my neighborhood or I'm going to lose it.
