The exterior was pretty clean, except from a couple dings here and there. The interior was ok too, except the diver seat had some little tears and smelled like smoke (I don't smoke). The car also wasn't garaged which was kinda a turn off. It also vibrated at around 60 mph. It seemed to take off pretty good but seemed kinda weird, but it could just be that I am used to my car. Can any describe what it should feel like when accelerating (I know, kinda a dumb weird question)

If you're looking for a reliable DD car, then the SC400 with no engine mod. A swapped engine on SC3 can give you some troubles sometime. There're usually something that'll ask for your money on swapped engine after the swap is done.
Doing a complete tune-up on the SC400 will gain back the smoothness and power that it lost. Put on a high stall torque converter and it'll accellerate quicker. I'm using Lextreme hi-stall torque converter with good result.

Vibration
Have the engine/ tranny mounts checked for cracks or breaks and also the flexible coupling connecting the trans to the driveshaft. After replacing those, all my vibrations disappeared.

Nice 6 year bump...
I see you're new here and obviously have no clue what the going rate for these are. I paid $8k for my '99 SC400 back in 2009 (same color) and it was a clean title with zero body/mechanical issues.
Here you have one in fair condition at best with a salvaged title asking 8k.
If you get $5k take it and run.
