un-plug old bulbs, plug ballasts to harness from car, plug new HID bulbs to ballast...mount ballast..have a beer..its simple, and pretty straight forward, and the HID kit should have come with instructions.

I just picked up a pair of HID lows from hidextra. They had awesome service and shipped on the same day.

My HID's just arrived. I ordered them on Tuesday and they arrived on Thursday. That's pretty quick!

I never knew it was that easy. Do you have to take the headlights apart to get swap the bulb out?

nope, if you look behind the headling from under the hood, you will see the back end of the bulb right there. Just turn it and pull it out.

I haven't lifted my hood to see a good spot for the ballast placement yet. It seems like the kit came with a mounting brace for each unit, two bolts / nuts, and two zip ties. Where are you guys mounting these ballasts?

i zipolocked the ballast on the driver side i think on the bar holding the battery down on the front side toward the front of the car, and the passenger side is sitting down with the sticky adhesive stuff

I'll have to put in an order for some HID's since I never realized how easy they were to install. The factory halogens are terrible. I might have to get a set for my Saturn as well.
