Hey I am about to buy a sc300 5 spd with a 2jzgte. I did a carfax report on it and everything looked cool until the last owner. It said it had 105000 miles on it 2005 then in 2006 it read 156k mile which was a huge leap since all the other owners barley drove it. Then 2 days later it said it had 214k miles on it! And the tach reads 114k on the car. And the car is a factory 5spd so there was no need to swap tach. Any way I can tell it's been swapped?

 

Ok the tach on the Scs goes bad all the time, non working back lighting or burned up needles.

is that the one that comes in the 92-96 sc300's? or are they all the same...

 

97 and up has temperature as well as avg mpg and mph readings, so thats definitely a pre 97

 

check this car fax and were its get funky in 2005 in texas... its say id had 105k then in a year later it has 156k, then 2 days later 214k! wtf!!
