My friend got an SC300 when he turned 16 a few years ago, and the car and it blew me away since I had never seen one before. He had one of the cleanest SC's I had ever seen and I had always wanted one since then. About two years ago, I decided to look for a 240sx or a Prelude, but then I came across this forum and realized that I HAD to have an SC. I almost got a 94 Supra, but I chose the SC since it's harder to find a clean SC around here than a MKIV Supra.

I wanted a more mature car that was still mod friendly and had nice styling. Not to mention the 1uz is a beautiful sounding engine.

they are rare in NY... i don't like to be like everybody else.
plus, it's a timeless design, it will not look outdated.... in the near future at least.

SC's gone wild vid :P

I was a benz person but hated the maintenance bills. I bought a lexus in hopes for
a more reliable car. So far it's been very good to me.

I am coming from a G35 scene and I have to tell you everytime I drive by a SC it still turns my head looking at that sexy beauty. I love my g35 and it's been my pride and joy for the last 3 years daily driving it. Lexus has been my preferred brand for quite a while now. I had a stealing deal when I came across the G35 just before I was going to check out a 97 sc300 with just 80k on. Three years later, here I am.. like a Tiger Woods whos already got a topnotch wife yet still crave for more. The SC series (not 430 of course..) carries a very unique line of body style and that was one thing that catches me the most. I love how the hood look so long that it's possible to stuff any beasts under that roof. I love riding low and I think every car that's low on a great fitment and proper fitment on wheels will bring out the true beauty of a car. SC was no exception. And the idea of owning one of these knowing that you're messing with the hot queen supra's cousin.. hmm that's just that much more exciting. I've only drove this car once and it was an auto, but I felt I'm in a different class when I am driving it. This is what I have right now..

I drove a SC for the first time in 2002, and I've always loved how the car looked and felt, so when it was time for me to buy another car I went with the SC.
