They actually did bring the VR-4 Galant to the US. It was the 4wd/(?)4ws(?) first/second gen with a turbo charged evo engine... the same one I believe thats in the current generations of evo's. They brought about 2000 or so of them to the US, and you can still find one though most are heavily modified or very high mileage. Someone one town over had one that appeared stock, I was 15 at the time and never mustered the courage to ring their bell and ask to buy it. Very cool cars...

and the 6th gen vr4s are pretty beastly when done right...as you said hard part is finding a good one lol.

^^Ya thats Brandon he's a cool guy. I'm in Boulder and he's in Erie. I get back into town in three weeks. There's also an annual Toyota meet in Castle rock at the beginning of July every year and a bunch of Lexus guys turn out.

Sweet! I can't wait to have a meet up. I saw the castle rock toyota meet hopefully I can make it since I work at at&t and there might be a block off for taking time off in july :-( we'll have to see :-p

sometimes i wish i never parted-out my Galant. i should have kept it as a DD. people on car domain still ask me about it ha..

The sc aint gonna be a slouch by any means with that single though >:-| im not surprised people on cardomain still ask you about it, it was sick. I STILL get messages about my lip o_O

Megan coilovers are on the way! Decided against the d2's lol. Aiming for wed/thurs for an install. i will also do the wire tuck/ relocation while i am in there. After this, exhaust then im leaving the car alone for a while and am going to enjoy it before i tear into it for the 5 spd and sc/turbo

Ran into one rusted bolt for the rear tie bar support link. was a beatch!! but got around it! Did the wire harness relocation and raised the front. i had to raise the front....my gosh megans really do slam! wtf!

still have some adjustments to do and spacers coming in!

Thanks bro! I love my galant. I'll save it for my kid haha. I'm still paying it off though.
Spacers won't fit with my wheels cause of the multiple bolt patterns on the wheel itself
I would have to shave down my existing studs or put in longer ones? Boo
