Radiator Replacement
My radiator finally gave out at 192k. Developed a small crack along the top near the cap. Dealer wants 800$ to replace it but I can't afford that. I have much more mechanically inclined friends who are willing to help me change it out. I just need to know are there any tricks, things to look out for, even step by step directions to doing it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Again Thank you for any help, Guess now I know what that light is for.

For that amount you can get a high performance Fluidyne radiator AND dual electric fans to replace your clutch fan (if a 300)!
You may be able to have a radiator shop fix for even less.

I replaced mine with a steel one from expressautoparts .com for $168.00 with shipping. And doing the job yourself took me about 21/2 to 3 hours. It's not that hard if you have basic mechanical skills.
