ok so basically i did a full tune up already but the car dosent sputter all the time ill be driving and all of a sudden it like wants to die but immidietly keeps going it does this alot when im taking off and sometimes when im already driving it also does it more often when its hot outside and but only difference is that when its hot outside it will compleatly shut off but i can turn it right back on... any ideas?

 

also sometimes when i first turn the car on it sputters and runs very rich that i can see smoke out the exhaust and smell gas any ideas? think it could be related?

 

Mass air flow sensor! Try unplugging it and see if the car runs fine after.

 

wouldent it throw a code tho??

 

and i just tried it... all it did was sta on for a bit and die..
