it's been serviced at i believe a lexus dealer.... all regular intervals .... last one being 65k... but just whether to trust mechanic with doing the 90K now at 69K miles due to age..?? also is 800 decent price..?? wonder how much dealer charges...?? sometimes i wonder about going to independent mechanic.. they charge less but might be skipping little things.... i have been going to the same mechanic for 10yrs.... but just don't know...

haha using sig codes in your post and sig.

first thing i thought of when i saw the "c".

IMO, I'd say do the service if you want to have the piece of mind and the time to have it done. Honestly, to have it done now isn't necessary despite age. I bring that up because, even after having gone through my second timing belt/90k service, the belt and other parts still looked to be in good working condition.

If i were you & you have the money, i would do it. thats not very many miles but thats 11yr old rubber, & that is an interferance motor, ive done mine twice & its not that bad but you gotta do water pump while you there. Parts are only like 250-300 retail or pretty close to that.

just check your timing belt for any cracks and stuff. best do a coolant flush though. im at 120000kms almost, and the belt is still perfect.
