Overheating problem
Hey guys,
I seem to be having an overheating problem after my 1jz gets to running temp and happens when I'm moving at low speeds or stopped revving the engine. This problem goes away after getting up past around 35-40mph or so and goes back down to running temp.
I'm guessing it could be a partially clogged radiator? I just replaced the water pump, thermostat, ect. so I don't believe that could possibly be the problem.
Any input would be helpful.
Thanks in advance

I don't have a fan shroud, but would the fan shroud really cause that much air to be redirected towards the engine? Has your 2j ever gotten up near the danger zone temp?
Thanks for the input

That's not what a shroud is for. The shroud is for drawing the maximum amount of air through the radiator.
