Unhappy Power seats question

So I just installed some factory black seats in my car, and everything works as it should, except for the seat memory. Nothing happens when I push the button. Any ideas?

Set the seat where you desire it. Turn key to ACC On but engine not running - press and hold the set and the number you wish to be programmed. There should be a beep if done correctly

Also, make sure the car is in Park when pressing a memory key. I am always thinking my memory seats don't work cuz I don't spend much time in boring ol' "P" =D

Oh ya I did that. It beeps like it set, but then when you press the button by itself, nothing happens. No seat movement or beep.
