^^^ Yea I brought one already. After i get it running good with the TT maf and ECU. I will then install my turbo and after that is all ironed out I can start messing with it. I don't want to do too much at once then it will be hard to figure out whats wrong if something goes wrong.
Have you gathered all of your parts yet?

Are you thinking about trying the mod, 550's should get close but maybe 660's and a piggyback should give you more than enough fuel to do it. you will also need the boost cut defender to get there.
You are motivating me to get some 550's again or maybe even some 660's its funny to think 550's are the first set of injectors I put on my na-t, then some 1000cc then 750's then back to 440 with the aristo ecu
Too many projects, still gotta grab a boost cut controller.
Oh I like the map setup, but besides 96-97 having to use the maf setup it has its advantages like the 550's. I was thinking just like the vvti coils, there was most likely a reason why toyota went maf on all vvti motors including the gte in japan. its probably part due to emissions, but I bet it is all around more accurate at fueling when you start bolting mods on.
map sensor setups need to be remapped for peak performance for mods that change the engine curve and turbo efficiency changes. So its possible the USDM tune may work a little better on single turbo's while building up boost but that's just a theory of mine i have been kicking around haven't tested it yet.
Basically the map sensor setup runs a little rich when spooling up with a single turbo (although having a quality turbo would help) but if you have a fuel controller you can probably tune that out. It works out pretty well still no controller at all on the map because we have a little more compression which balances out less efficient turbo spooling.
Only downside to the USDM is the venting of the bov, but not a huge dealbreaker and I hear you can get away without recirculating in some cases. And If I can stick the newer vvti style maf in a 4" pipe and run 660's I think that would be pretty sweet. you can find those mafs on most new toyotas like siennas and stuff on ebay for under $50 all day long.

Ali,
Even with the VVti you can't run more that 2.75" intake pipe because you will have all the issues in the world lol , I remember my buddy Turbo819 on here (kenny) had that issue he is 2jzgte vvti with single turbo gt35 , he went 4" intake pipe in front of the Turbo but he had to change it back to 2.75" / 3".

Lol same here that's why i decided not to mess with it...
Ali , I am going to try it with some 550-650 high impedance in a couple days, i have another SC and i am trying to do a budget setup 480-500whp on pump gas 93 oct.
E85 on my old daily wasn't cheap and functional without a flex fuel sensor .
I am starting the work this week end so it should be done Sunday .
I'll keep you posted!

cool man, good to hear you are giving it a try, you will probably break 500hp long before I do so let us know how the dyno goes. if you are using a fuel controller probably go at least 650 on the injector to be safe.
F4a22 I forgot you were on map ecu with 850's, thats pretty impressive that its running that well. let us know how the final tune goes as well.

Ali,
I wanna do a MS3 Pro setup on this car, i want try something different that's why i am doing the aristo ecu setup in case i can't get it run right i wanna have something to fall back ON.
What's the biggest injectors you can run on safc 650-750?
I thought about the map ecu but i don't know any good tuner locally so i decided to give Megasquirt a try and since it does Flex fuel now .
Ben will tune it once i get it running on the safc he is very good at it and he has tuned plenty gte with safc up to 520whp on pump safely.
Then Have Shaodome tune it on the MS3 in a couple months once i upgrade the fuel system.
