Smile the rarest of the rarest

Look what I found this morning, gives me hope on selling my car and making twice as much of what I put in it.

wow...if that's the case I'm taking my car to Miami for a 300% profit. Maybe I'll put new tires on for 400% profits.

You know what's really sad its that these cars ARE worth that much. I mean seriously, would you rather have a new Kia, or a mint (seriously mint) 92 SC?

I think so many people have bought these and craptastically modified them, that it brought down the value. ++ 240sx cough ++ I'd say in general, the MKIV Supras are more tastefully modified - when modified - and they have held their value.

Eh, I don't know about a lot of mkiv being tastefully modded- there are a lot of pretty god awful examples out there. But when a car gets butchered it might as well be crushed as it makes finding a clean one harder for an enthusiast and therefore the value does go up. However, when you're actually selling a clean one, the price goes down from all the "oh I saw 3 of those for X dollars so you need to come down".

I don't know what's worse, the seller on that sc300, or someone posting up a dumb craigslist ad.
