Is my ECU dieing?
I was just out crusing and my car just shut off, I was going 50mph in 5th gear just cruising, and with no warning, the car shut off. It made no noises, no smoke came out, just shut off and started gliding to a stop. It restarted about 3-4 minutes later, and let out a bit of white smoke, it smelt like raw fuel, more so that usual. Now my battery was dead and I jumped the car to get it started, but the battery is basicly new, only 3 months old, I let it idle and I had been crusing for like 30 minutes before it just died. It also did this a few weeks ago, when the battery wasn't dead.
Here's what I've done:
FP is on and working
made sure the TPS was all good
did the 12V bypass a while back
Also, the temp gauge just went off after the first time it died, it hasnt come back since.
Any Ideas?

does the engine just shut off or all accesories?. i had a issue with my gte swap, it would turn off all the time and have idling issues. well i found out to be my ecu. when i would shake it or tap on it or move it the car would shut off. i had the people who i bought my engine from give me a new one. now it runs like a champ

as far as the maf, it's a 1jz so that rules that out.
