let me explain something... certain people have a passion for a nice sounding exhaust, it's not like i put nos stickers or some stupid stuff on the car to make my car "look" fast.. i just enjoy the sound of the v8...
my buddy got the new audi r8 and installed a custom exhaust setup... is he lame for modifying the exhaust on a "stock motor".. HELL NO, he's driving a neck turning r8 with an exhaust system b/c he loves the sound of his car as well
you could make the SAME argument as saying why do people pay for coilovers if they aren't tracking the car.... IS LOWERING EVERY CAR THE NEW FASHION... some people may argue the lowered raked looked is like you're trying to imitate a drag car...
SORRY FOR THE RANT.. i'm working an audit shift at work 11pm-7am and i have school in the morning.. CRANKY! lol

The dumped sound always sounds great on a v8... 4 cyl would just sound like a pissed off lawnmower.. in which i would agree it would sound like pure crap.. but ehh comes down to pref.. i'll prob get most of the love from the american muscle crowd......
but next on my list is 410 rear end, manual conversion and then TURBO
will keep everyone updated
oh and wheels somewhere around then.. i'm headed more performance oriented
