I just returned from a 250 mile roundtrip and the car in addition to getting 26 MPG's, performed flawlessly. I think I can now say with a higher degree of certainty that changing the ECU was the trick to fixing my no O/D issue.
got my ECU on friday! big thanks to Ishootstuf for getting me it out quickly. plugged in the ecu and went for a test drive and what you know. i got OVERDRIVE!!! and yes i couldnt believe it worked! car rides much smoother now with this ECU. what an easy fix!!
