Well I just had a hard time passing smog and an idea popped into my head. I know a lot of us mod our cars and have a hard time trying to collect the stock parts to pass whatever it happens to be smog,ref violation or just a visual inspection. Is anyone willing to donate or collect stock parts for members around the area? Clearly this is just a thought and a proses on how to make it work would have to be created/discussed to prevent a member from just slapping on the stock parts and never returning them.

 

It would prob be easier to find someone in the area with the same model as you, only stock, and slip them a few bucks to run their car. I did it for a member on here when I first got my car and now Im looking for someone to return the favor...

 

I understand in some cases it's easier to do that... but if the day were to come and CHP or something similar that checks vin numbers comes around..
It would be nice to have a central location on where to go get the parts vs shopping around and hopefully finding everything you need in time.
