Most of you guys know that I've been trying to get a twin turbo thing going for the SC4's. I know an Old School Mustang guy(not a shop a private guy) to help me out. He has currently a 67 Mustang Fastback that is in complete restoration. He told me it will take him 4-5 months for that to finish(since he has a non auto-related full time job) then he told me he would take do my car. He said 1 or 2 months to do it. I guess I'll be driving my eagle talon for a while. I know this has been beat to death so I'm not going to say anything about it for 5-7 months. By the 1st of next year I am hoping that this will have reached fruition. It would be really nice new years present for me. This guy is reliable and knows what he is doing since I've seen him take a busted67 GT350 mustang(I think thats what it is) to a like-new supercharged monster. I know fords and lex's are different but the end result should be a success... wish me luck and see you guys in a few months! and yes he welds, fabricates, and is ASE certified, has all the tools and etc etc......

Dennis, it wasn't Blue was it? I had a '67 GT-350, sold it to a guy not far from you, that would be one helluva coincidence. Hope it all works out for you, let me know if I can help, if ya don't still have my number let me know and i'll PM it to you. By the way, found a place on the North Shore that does very nice work, I went there today (for an alignment) and the whole lot was filled with Ferraris, Porches, Aston Matins, even a DeLorean. Was checking out a turbo Bentley while they worked on my whip, two calipers per wheel! They also just finished putting a roots blower on a 3.6 litre Porsche, supposed to run nice. They're by no means cheap (matter of fact, more expensive than Lexus), but if you want work done by A+ guys with A+ equipment, it's the spot. I'm tyred of having hacks try to work on my car, glad I found them. Anyways, gotta go, have to yank my wheels/tyres, getting the lips mirror polished.
P.S. - Dennis almost forgot to tell you, we just signed papers on a '02 RX300, tell your guy I want to turbo that bad boy when he's done with your SC!

This guy is in bayside, NY and he GT-350 car didn't have interior and most of the car wasn't painted. I still have your number. It would be nice to get turbos done by them those guys, but I think it all comes down to keeping price as low priced as possible so any SC4 owner would be able to do it, but be able to upgrade if desired. I've always used the dealer..... never wanted to take a chance with anyone..... my mechanic asks me why I never bring the lex to him and I just tell him i never drive it =) Good luck with the rim polishing and nice purchase on the RX300 I love that truck but I'm not a 4x4 guy.. feel uncomfortible. I had to beg him to take my car so I'll try to work your car in but its at least a year away from what it seems if he's going to do yours. =)

He looked at the thing and said. Move the battery and slap the turbos on top front and good to go. He said alot more room than expected out of an import. Will keep you posted.
