The extra thick manifold from cx racing about $500 or so, so much better than my driftmotion

I ran a eBay manifold on last 1jz and never had a problem.. My last 1 was heat wrapped also. No cracks nothing.

I will 2nd the newer CXRacing version with thick walls, they are on ebay all day with a downpipe or just order from their website. The original wasn't even that bad but this one is a beast!

Oh, you said t3.. Anything aftermarket will most always be t4 so you'd have to weld a flange or get a bigger turbo

bumping this up.. trying to see what everybody is using.. Im in the process of doing a single turbo set up and undecided on which mani to go with.

I am using the Driftmotion 1JZ manifold with no problems so far. Had to drill two of the holes to make it fit over the exhaust studs, not a big issue. You will have to modify the mounting point for the wastegate depending on which one you plan to use in order to clear the downpipe.
This is what I had to do to bolt up my wastegate.
