Doubt it would work for any real length of time.. But is a carfax account usable for members a real thing? Not give everyone a password but just post VIN's and a certain person run them and post the results?

I think when one person subscribes to carfax they get a certain time to run as many VIN#s as they want. Lots of message boards help each other out by running vins for them, I don't need the VIN ran no more becuase my friend found someone, thanks though.

If anyone ever finds any problems that carfax let's you know, I would be interested in hearing about it. From what I gather and have seen, carfax rarely tells you anything that's happened to a vehicle.
