Sup CL, I am in real bad need of a new/used(good condition) alternator for my 94 SC300 as mine suddenly went out. The Auto stores in my area are all asking between $160-$200 for a new one and I am just a little short on cash right now and I start my winter classes for college in about 4 days now with no reliable transportation. Hoping to find one at a reasonable price before then. I have found many on eBay for $100 I just really need to get my hands on one ASAP and don't want to wait for it to ship. I live in CA, Bay Area and am willing to commute to pick on up somewhere in the east bay. Thanks!

yo if you live in the bay area, my boy might still have one. he had one from an LS400, same as our cars. PM me if you're interested and i'll see if he still has it. i'm just trying to remember if it needed to be rebuilt or not... whatever, in any case, PM if interested and i'll look into it.

I suggest you to rebuild your old alternator! I did my mine last year (summer 2008) I have brand new painted and rebuilded alternator
