Default Hood Removal

i'm in the process of taking off the head and doing a HG and ARP headstuds job and when i attemped to take the hood off i notice that i might have to take the whole bracket off w/ it and it seems like the fenders is in the way. so do i need to take off the fenders to take the hood off? stock hood is pretty heavy, maybe it's time for a carbon fiber hood.

Remove the two bolts that attach to the hood on each side. The ones that go from the hood to the bracket.
