Default ECT doesnt light up on my dash

my ect light donesnt come on on my dash board, does that mean
my power ect on the trans doesnt work? help, help

It could just be a burnt out bulb or a loose connection. I just pulled my gauge cluster to try and fix my burnt out needles. No dice on that but I did get my ECT light to work again. I replaced that bulb plus the other display bulbs. Wasn't that tough to do. If I can do it, anyone can.

Had the same problem but on mine it was b/c when the gear selector plate was removed to open up the dash for the stereo install we forgot to reconnect that plug under the plastic plate next to the shifter.

exactly what is b\c and there are more than one plug under the
tranny cover, can you discribe the plug a little better, I would really appreciate it bro!

b/c is short for because,
I cant remember exactly what the little plug looks like, it was about 4 months ago when I took the whole console apart, but I think there were only two harnesses to the left of the shifter under the area where ect button is.
