About two months ago, I did every surface of my car. Door jams, trunk edges, everything, all with the Meguires 3 step process. However, it is starting to loose that luster. How long does the Gold class wax last, how often should I wax it? I park outside, so I know that has some to do with it. Hood looked like it lost it quickest, even though I put on 4 coats of wax.

 

so how long did it take to loose that luster again???
Seriously,I think yoo should just go from the info you have based on expirience. It's not going to be the same for everyone since we are from all parts of the U.S.
If i ever got around to waxing mine it would be once a month because the climate sux up here

I would think that 4 coats would last longer than that

About a month and a half to two months. Problem is getting the time in between something of a social life, school, and work. Also, the process filled in most of the swirl marks. However, they are back with a vengence, thats what I mean by lose that luster. Really need to tackle those headlights though....
