i checked my heater valves and lines, they are hooked up and they work. the valve goes up when heat is turned on and goes down when the climate control is set to cold. i ve done a search and before i pull the dash apart, any idea?
car overheated, i removed the thermostat and it stop overhearting
car does not overheat now, but no hot air.
heater core flap under the dash?
thanks.

btw the heater core flap is a little more hten under dash... it requires you to do this.
What you should check is the thing in the upper left of this pic. The little circle thing right of the abs has a vacuum line on top. By-pass it and drive your car for a bit to see if that did it. Otherwise you could have a bad water pump or heater core but i doubt that.

Sounds like you might have a huge air pocket that you created after removing your t-stat. Did you properly burp the coolant system after you removed the t-stat?
Try burping the system with the heater on, fan speed set to low. If you dont have a spill-free coolant funnel to help you burp the system, do the 'ol cap-off, front end raised up trick while constantly topping it off. Could get messy, keep your cats in your house.
Regardless, you should put your thermostat back in. There was a reason your car was overheating, removing the t-stat didnt fix the original problem.

i have a suction/pressure kit that works with a pneumatic compressor, to remove all the air. plus its been idling with low heat on for over an hour with a funnel.
this is so weird. i ll have to remove the heater core hoses to check circulation..

I had no heat also v-empire so I replaced the heater valve assembly with another one from my other sc. However, this time the car only stays hot and hardly blows cold but if i cross my vacuum lines then the AC works fine but then the heat isn't as warm. I would try to find a replacement at a local yard since they run pretty cheap.

i hooked up a pressurized system on one end of the hose and cranked the pressure way up....it pretty mch exploded out of the other end after a good 25-35 seconds.. there is heat now.
not as hot, but maybe its because i took off the thermostat...
seems like something got stuck/clog somewhere... mystery. ill post updates if anything changes.
