negative camber
alright....this is a loaded question; on a typical mcpherson strut/control arm combo, like on most cars, like the sc300, the theory that i have is that the lower that you squat your car the more negative camber achieved. If im clearing my fender already by atleast a fingers width, I would think that I would be able to slam it until the top of the tire or inside was hitting something. basically, im thinking that the outside sidewall will have no problem clearing the fender no matter the drop. does this sound realistic???
first off, the SC300 does not have a macphearson strut design on the front. This design is found on all FWD and AWD cars. Only a scant few RWD have macphearson design (the new mustang one of them i just found out). The SC300 has a double wishbone front suspension.
Also when you lower the car you are correct that more negative camber results. However, you would still need some extra negative camber if you want to achieve what you're looking for, not to mention some fender rolling/pulling depending on the wheel combo that you have.
