planning for Targa - suspension advice
Okay I will start off admitting that I currently don't have my SC but am actively searching for one. My plans are to build a car for Targa racing / daily driving ( http://www.targacanadawest.com ). I come from a background of only Mazda and mostly rotaries so I am not completely knowledgeable about the toyota/lexus options.
I am limited in what class I can compete in during a targa event as I will never be able to acquire a proper race license (monocular vision is strictly prohibited) to be able to compete with the really fast opposition. This is why the daily driver is still part of the equation, and I will be focusing more on handling and braking rather then all out power.
Now to my question, regarding suspension I need something a bit different from most, how low the car can sit is not anywhere near my top priority list. What is important is going to be performance, suspension travel, and of coarse comfort. Being a tad lower then stock may not be a bad thing because it is held on all paved roads.
