Default fuel injection cleaning

i was thinking about going to get my fuel system cleaned at a shop or just buy the fuel cleaner and put it in my gas tank. is there a big difference from getting it done at a shop and having them motorvac my car or is just getting the cleaner and pouring it in my tank good enough?

I would do both.. What I mean is pour some Lucas in the gas tank along with a half of can of Seafoam, then I would remove the intake and clean the throttle body with some basic tools and call it the day. You will be amazed how much carbon is built up in the front part of the throttle body. Use some carb cleaner and some lint free rags and the longest flat head screwdriver you can find. With the other half of of Seafoam, I would put it in the brake booster line and let the vaccuum suck it up. then shut the car off, let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then let your neighbors call the pollution police people, due to the amount of smoke your SC will produce after you first crank it!
