Default Modifying 97 fog cover for HID kit?

Has anyone modified the back cover of their 97+ fogs to allow for an aftermarket HID kit? I searched but I couldn't find anything. Pictures would be a plus. I have mine wired up but I wish it was a little more clean. Thanks!

Did you want to totally replace the bulb type? I believe there is an hid kit for bulb 899 so no need to modify the housing. Thats ofcourse if you want a stronger light output by putting bigger bulb.

I have the same bulb type as stock but the way the wires are, there is an extra that needs to go through the housing. I recently saw someone in the classifieds selling a modified set I believe for just the reason and now I can find it or the person who posted it.

i had to modify my housings, i wouldn't call it modifying more like just cut a chunk out to fit the harness through it, then i covered it with strip caulk to keep it sealed, so far so good...
