control arm question

Default control arm question

I just bought a left side toyota supra lower control arm for my 94 sc400 and i was wondering if i just replace the one side thats having problems will it cause any handling problems or do i need to replace them in pairs???

You'll be fine. One side will just have a newer ball joint and bushings.

As long as your other side is in good shape you will be fine. Most often, as we all know, it is usually the bushings in the LCA's that go bad before the ball joint bites the dust. So, if the other side bushings are still in fine shape as well as the ball joint, then your O.K. Trust me, once you replace and drive with a new one on one side, if your other is bad, you will hear/feel it pretty quick. Good luck.
