i have about a 17x9.5 and I run a 275/40/17. I dont know whats the widest but with the sidewall on a 16" I would run a 265 or 275 on the rear. 225 or 245 up front depending on width of front rims.
its most likely going to come down to what tires are even available over 245 in 16" that don't cost an arm and a leg, because its a rarer size.

i run a 225-50-16 up front and a 245-50 or 45-16 in the back...... i think 255 would look good too, but bigger then that wouldnt look right imop... plus like ali said money wise its not worth it..

pictures of this setup??? I have 245's on my 17x9 +22 (all around) and have been contemplating running a 265/40 in the rear and 255/40 up front. Maybe even a smaller profile tire...possibly 35's. I'm not worried about rubbing or any of that crap. Thanks in advance brutha!

My wheels on my TT 300zx are 18x9's in the rear and I run 275's no problem.

This is what my 275's look on 9 inch wheels.

Tyler,

Thanks for the pictures, dude! I like the way they sit on the wheel although I'm EXTREMELY partial to the stretched look. But considering I'm not ready for that yet, this is the style I want. (: what's the tire profile?

Also, I would still like pics of your setup, Ali.
