I still haven't decided if I want a after market kit, 97 kit with modded oem lip, or oem lip on my 93 bumper with 97 skirts and rear.
All I know is I need something more aggressive for the front. So Im gonna try to rig up a lip in the meantime. I know its ghetto, but Im gonna try my best to make it decent. I will eventually get the real deal, but for now something under 30 bucks doesn't seem that bad. It'll help me make my final decision.
Hey man im interested on seeing how you do on the home made lip. I just bought a 95 sc4oo and i plan to update the front bumper to the 97+ front BUT it wont be for a while so if your Depot lip looks good i might try that out on my 95 front. Post those pics! with info on parts and etc
97 with molded OEM lip looks SICK! I have 2 chopped up lips I was working with to mold to my bumper but I got a different front lip. Let me know if you want to buy one to work on
Um, if he does it right & it looks good how will people know the diff? is it possible to make a home depot lip look oem?
It doesn't matter sweetheart, He can make it look like an OEM Toyota lip fit to match and all, but in the end, A home depot lip is still a home depot lip no matter how well it's done. He's not fooling anyone but himself.
