I got them at my local NAPA store - they're NGK part# TE132 . I didn't have time to get them online so I went local and they had them in the store the same day I called - I think the wire set was about $115 or something like that - they weren't the most expensive ones they had but I trust NGK so I went with them. The NGK plugs were frikking expensive - I got the platimum and they were about $10/ea... Doing it myself I still saved money though..

Actually a lot - plz see my first posts in this thread - I had a really nasty hesitation that felt like someone was hitting the car. Kinda went away when the car warmed up...

I was gonna just replace the plugs but got in there and saw a broken plug cap. I 'm sure that fixed my hesitation -- I thought wtf , the plugs looked really old so I replaced them anyway...

My hesitation is totally gone now - runs very smooth but I need more time to check if my mileage increased. I like those blue wires but unfortunately the SC has them all covered up so you can't see 'em at all.

Just got the lex back from the paint shop where they replaced the LH door after a clutz backed into it.. my wife really wanted the hood and front painted while it was there. Because of that, they had to replace the entire front bumper since they'd spend more labor$$ fixing that than the $500 for the new one- all that cost $1800 extra out of pocket - luckily he "threw in" painting both front fenders so the whole car looks really nice now !! We got a new door hinge ($450 from lexus) out of too because that was also damaged.

This is a place that just does lex's, bmw's , ferrari's, etc and unfortunately we're regular customer's of theirs - the SC was rear-ended a year ago and our GS300 was rear ended 2 years ago...Help with spark plugs please!!!-hpim0457.jpg

Sorry for the blurry pic - I wanted to get one w/o flash to show the reflection of the bikes on the ceiling !

You paid $500 for a front bumper? You can get a new 97+ front with grill for less than that...

Those wires look pretty cool. May have to look into getting some of those for my next tune up

Sorry, don't know who that is. My wife's name would be Mrs. Korsu, so I do not know of whom you speak.
Trust me when I say I would have no reservations to saying that to anyone's face.

While you make a good suggestion, hunting is half the fun.

Mk - you're right - it is fun to hunt and see how different people do stuff - no biggie.... wow - your flashy screen woke me up from my afternoon doldrums - thanks !!

DX3 - I think it was exactly $450, and it included some mounting stuff - mine was near falling off - I could move it pretty freely... Also, I don't think a 97 would fit based on the fiche at toyota world. Thanks for the info , though. I saw the quote that included the front fenders , which they ultimately did for free, so I'm not going to complain.

I'm very happy w/the wires, but unfortunately they're all covered up.. I may look at using some of my leftover colored hose I got from hosetechniques . If you're looking to dress up the engine compartment, those look a lot better than old dirty black hose. I saw a lot of them back when I had my Supra....

Just got my new trunk supports in - the back of my head will be glad when I get those puppies in - only paid $100 each for them !!

just kidding.....

I bought a set of NGK plug wires from NAPA today for $115.00, going to see if it will get rid of my 1500 RPM miss. Already put in a set of Autolite platinums ,no change. Dist. caps and rotors next.

Installed today, even though the oe plug wires looked like new, I think the new ones smoothed it out. Only got to drive 10 miles, will know more later.

Installed my new trunk supports - no more bruises from the trunk falling onto the back of my head (or PO'd wife when it happened to her..)
