That engine is 100% 1UZFE V8. I don't think anyone would swap the 1UZ into the SC300 and call it 2JZ + 1UZ = 3JUZ. LOL. And I know 100% Toyota never made a SC300 with the V8. They already make a SC400 with the V8. SC300 stands for 3.0L and SC400 stands for 4.0L. GS300 has 3.0L and GS400 has 4.0L...etc. That's how Toyota names them. As a member mentioned earlier, it looks like a misbadge. You can check with the DMV and you'll know right away.

I've been around the SC3 and SC4 long enough to believe Toyota never makes SC300 with the V8 engine. 300 stands for 3 liters displacement. The V8 has 4 liters displacement. The same thing applies for all old and new Lexus cars. It completely doesn't make sense. It gotta be an error with the DMV or the registration.

Mystery solved, I talked to the PO today, he told me when he got the car it had, and I quote, "Ghetto Gold" emblems. He found a set of regular "non ghetto gold" emblems but they were for an SC300, so he put them on anyway. I kinda believe him as I just noticed that the trim around top of the antenna hole is still gold. As far as the title, I only saw it for a second at the DMV and I guess I just missed. Well theirs nothing like looking like a total motard on you first post in a new forum. Sorry for the bad post.
