the the roof is cut the body would shift, no doubt about it! but ii was thinking id the car was caged and then the roof cut off for the targa conversion it would not shift. still looks very naughty, id love to take my top off! lol
that photoshop looks super sick. im sure olt like the idea now?? it reminds me of a supra...just a luxury version, if you will. with coupe body it just looks clean and long. im sure on the high way it would look soooo sweet from the sides...actually from every angel!! someone should definately do this. i would...but i have no money, im a student.
edit: by the way. thanks 97-sc300..that photoshop is exactly what was roaming my mind.
Why would anyone want to ruin a rare car by cutting up the item that makes it rare

No, Supras are 4 seaters, but there is a big difference in the body between the two, one is a hatch and the other is a coupe, so they are not the same.
lol, I have an extra SC laying around... where did i leave that sawzall.
I think it would be easy to cut it out, but after your done its not like the piece you cut out will just drop smoothly back into place, unless its cut 100% straight.
Then theres the latches/support.
I think it would be easies to leave a bar down the middle and cut 2 t-tops.. if it had to be done. at least the bar will provide some stability for the body.
