You can kid yourself all you want...They're still not (And never will be) "Foglights"..."Faux (fake) foglights" is all they'll be at best. OEM foglights can be turned on/off independently from the headlights and have a switch on the turn signal wand.
Acutally, OEM fogs on these cars can only be turned on when the headlighs are on, they can be turned off independently.
You must not be very familiar with the SC. CrazySC300's point was that the '92-'94 never came with cornering lamps, not foglights, and by converting the cornering lamps to foglights won't give you 'true' foglights.
what are you guys talking about? ive converted my cornering lights to fog and love the wide view i get. but the foglights in the lower valance gotta go buddy.
I like the capability to see the wide angle of the cornering lights after the simple mod. This was one of my first little mod. I dont know about the others though.
this thread should be renamed "OEM corner lights" aka grandpa lights..i don't think you can compare a 1156 bulb that goes into a turn signal, to a
foglight that actually projects light forward and uses a much more powerfull bulb
like this
I agree the h type bulb is more powerful and puts out more light, however they both project light forward. techically due to the nature of the coated tips on h-style bulbs they dont project the light as forward as a traditional bulb. However due to the amount of light they do put out, it doesnt matter. h-type wins.
