It is definitely cheaper than smaller brands like Royal Purple and Amsoil

Again.... make sure that the "synthetic" brands fall into either grp IV or grp V oils. Otherwise they are grp III and below which is not true synthetic. Royal purp and amsoil are grp V ester based oil.
