Here's one of many interesting auctions I've dug up @ www.iaai-bid.com. (Geeze, that's sound like a sales pitch)
Yea, so anyhow, I was wondering if anyone here knows the stipulations to bidding on a car. 'Cause it might be interesting to pick up a project car or something... XTC, do you know about this stuff?
Just seems like an interesting idea, I guess.

well it requires a registration fee, so i am not going to sign up as the closest to me is in tampa and i really dont care about salvage cars, but if anyone has already signed up and wants me to go in and check around, i will be happy to.
Looks like its just an auction that deals with wrecked cars sent form insurance comps. Mostly salvage titles. I deal with enterprise and hertz rental auctions for their wrecked rental cars. Good deals usually, if thats what you want.
They seem to have different rules by each state as weather you must be a dealer or not.
If you need to be a dealer in your state to buy a car form them, i will be more then happy to do the buy for you since i am a dealer, just as long as you dont mind that the car goes to me; then to you on the paperwork. I have to be legal and all.
Also, Salvagenow.com is the biggest in salvage car online auctions. They get most of the flood cars.

Jason....hey man, sorry I did not get back to you earlier about that Jag, but my buddy ended up trading it in on a 2003 SL500! Anyways, would you have any interest in a 99 Corvette Coupe, a black M5 or anything of that sort?? Reason I ask is because another one of my buds is selling them. Let me know.

I will email you the Vin tomorrow for the M5.
I will find out the mileage of the Vette tomorrow, but I know he is asking around 27-28 for it and that is about 4k less than what the dealers are asking here. It is a dark red automatic with t-tops.
