ever since i got the car it never worked. i have another unit i put it and it doen work either.

lcd does not work and when i press the buttons nothin works. but when i turn on the head lights the background lights come on.

i checked all the fuses. i dunno what else to do.

 

This seems to be a common problem with no resolution as of yet.

I'd take it to the dealer and pay the $90 charge and have them figure it out. They'll tell you what's wrong and you can fix it yourself, if you can.

i got the wiring book for the car bnut that was a lost cause.

 

You might try to wiggle the connector on the back of the unit to see if it might be a loose connection. I had a similar problem but with my radio. It worked fine before I took it out to do the auxilary input and when I put it in the amp wouldn't turn on but the radio did. So I pulled everything back off and wiggled the connectors and it was just a loose connection on the harness.
